St. Johns Woman Magazine:
Luxe New Magazine for Women Launching Print & Online. Rooted in Community, Rising with Growth
[St. Johns, Florida - September 15, 2025] A new chapter in local publishing begins today with the debut of St. Johns Woman Magazine, a sophisticated print and digital lifestyle publication created by St. Johns Magazine, which has been telling the stories of this community since 2012. Conceived as both a reflection of and a gift to the women of St. Johns, the magazine celebrates inspired living, meaningful connection, and the enduring belief that when small businesses thrive, communities flourish.
The vision for St. Johns Woman has grown out of more than a decade of listening to the heartbeat of local business owners, neighbors, and friends. “I have always believed that publishing is an act of love,” said Publisher Debbie Gaylord. “It is about listening to what people need and creating a space that reflects both who they are and who they aspire to be. As St. Johns has grown and evolved, so too has the desire for a magazine that feels elevated, luxurious, and uniquely ours. St. Johns Woman is our answer to that call.”
The magazine arrives at a time of remarkable change in St. Johns County, where the population has grown by 47% between 2010 and 2022. From 2020 to 2022, St. Johns County was the fastest-growing county in Florida, and relative to the US overall, the County is generally older, wealthier, and has a higher educational attainment. As of 2024, the population of St. Johns County was 334,000. With a median household income above $100,000 and rising home values, the region has become a hub of both affluence and ambition. Yet the spirit of the community remains rooted in neighborliness, creativity, and a genuine love of place, qualities St. Johns Woman seeks to capture in every issue. †
Each quarterly edition will offer readers a beautifully bound magazine printed on thick, tactile paper designed to be kept, cherished, and displayed, a luxury object in its own right. Inside, readers will find design-forward features on health and wellness, beauty and style, travel and personal growth, as well as profiles of remarkable women, highlights of local businesses, and curated looks at the events and experiences that make life in St. Johns extraordinary. The print experience will be complemented by an elegant digital platform, complete with business profiles, shareable stories, and a seamless flipbook, extending the magazine’s reach into the everyday lives of its readers.
In many ways, St. Johns Woman marks both a new beginning and a return to our roots. When St. Johns Magazine first launched in 2012, it was distributed widely across six zip codes, bringing a rapidly expanding county together through shared stories. St. Johns Woman builds on that foundation, but with a sharper focus on the women who are shaping the community’s present and future. Entrepreneurs, leaders, creatives, mothers, daughters, and friends.
The first issue of St. Johns Woman will be released January 15, 2026, distributed at premium local locations, direct-mailed to select homes, and available online at www.stjohnswomanmag.com. Local businesses, nonprofits, artists, and community leaders are invited to take part in the launch through advertising, contributions, sponsorships, and storytelling.
For Gaylord, who has devoted more than two decades to the craft of design and storytelling, the magazine is more than a business venture; it is a celebration of a place and the women who make it remarkable. “This magazine is about creating a space where women’s voices shine, where their stories inspire, and where their businesses are celebrated,” said Gaylord. “It’s about honoring the growth of St. Johns, and of course, a love of publishing. Love of community. Love where you live.”
